LUCKNOW: Alleging terrorist incidents had risen in Uttar Pradesh due to appeasement policies adopted by Samajwadi Party, BSP and Congress, BJP on Wednesday said it will take out an "anti-terrorism march" on January 23.

The youth wing of the BJP would take out the march, state party chief Ramapati Ram Tripathi said.

"Politics of appeasement by SP, Congress and BSP have resulted in rise in terrorist incidents in Uttar Pradesh, which is the second state after Jammu and Kashmir where militants dared to attack security personnel," he said.

Earlier addressing a meeting of the state party office bearers and district presidents, Tripathi appealed to them to take to streets to oppose "anti-people policies" of the BSP government.
