KOLKATA: Alleging that a section of IPS officers in West Bengal were working as "cadres of the ruling Trinamool Congress", BJP state president Rahul Sinha today said he was preparing a list of these officers to be referred to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

"Some IPS officers are wearing the police uniform and taking salary from the government, but are working as cadres of the ruling Trinamool Congress. I have informed the Union home minister about this. He has told me to prepare a list of such officers and submit it to him. He will take appropriate action against them," Sinha claimed.

Sinha slammed the Birbhum district administration for not acting impartially and siding with the TMC leadership in their bid to take over the villages in Parui in the district.

"In Parui, the police officers are just mute spectators to the massacre that TMC is perpetuating there," Sinha said.

Sinha said he had recently submitted a blue print for "Mission 2016" to BJP president Amit Shah and claimed he had assured him that the Union ministry would fully back the state unit.

"I have recently submitted the blue print of 2016 to Amit Shahji. He will be coming to Kolkata on November 30," Sinha said.
