Lambasting the TMC for its "bhrastachar" (corruption), Bargi said that people had voted the party to power expecting a transparent and clean administration.
"But in reality, anti-socials dominated the party and the district administration including District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police, had been reduced to doing the ruling party's bidding," Bargi said.
Alleging that leaders, workers and ministers of the TMC were involved in the Saradha scam, Bargi said he was confident that the CBI probe would unearth this.
Stating that the BJP would contest the Assembly elections in the state on the development plank, Bargi alleged that apart from mis-governance, no development had taken place in the state under the ruling dispensation.
Claiming that there was lack of infrastructure in the state, the BJP leader came down heavily on the "deplorable" condition of the roads.
Bargi held a meeting here with party functionaries of the three districts - Malda, North Dinajpur and South Dinajpur.
