Later, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the newly appointed national office-bearers, describing organisational meetings as an opportunity for "new ideas and perspectives" aimed at strengthening the party and deepening its connect with the people.
The youth outreach, which will begin soon, is aimed at understanding the aspirations, concerns and expectations of Gen Z while providing a platform for young people to engage directly with BJP leaders and share their views on issues concerning them.
The meeting started with recitation of all six stanzas of the national song 'Vande Mataram'. It passed a resolution condemning the recent decision of the Congress Working Committee reaffirming its 1937 rule to sing only the first two stanzas of the song at party programmes.
