NEW DELHI: BJP today took out a march in North Delhi as part of the party's efforts to build confidence among people from the northeast in the city in the wake of exodus of the community from southern states.

Delhi BJP chief Vijender Gupta said people of North East are completely safe in Delhi and they should live with full freedom and do not think for any kind of migration from Delhi.

Blaming the Centre's policies for the largescale exodus of the northeastern people from Mumbai and Pune, he said they are being threatened repeatedly by some anti-social groups in a pre-planned manner.
