BJP takes jibe at Jitan Ram Manjhi government over law and order situation
Crime statistics of first 6 months of this year make it clear that incidents of train dacoity and loot have risen astronomically, Modi claimed.

Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi took help of the CM's assertions in the meeting that the state drew high praise from 2005 to 2010. After which the work has slowed down due to which the state's image has taken a nosedive.
Sushil Modi in a statement said that crime graph has been "rising in the state now." Crime statistics of first six months of this year make it clear that incidents of train dacoity and loot have risen astronomically, he claimed.
From January to June this year, 653 cases of loot and 128 dacoities on roads have been recorded in the state, he said. A total of 1765 murder cases have been registered during the period while there were 32 cases of kidnapping for ransom, the BJP leader said quoting figures.
In an apparent dig at JD(U) growing closeness with RJD, Sushil Modi said "memories of old days are returning." Sushil Modi, who is leader of opposition in Legislative Council, said the CM's review meeting with senior civil and police officials was merely a "formality" as his government which now have people with "dark records" like Mohammad Shahbuddin, Prabhunath Singh, Ritlal Yadav and Ajay Singh "does not have potential to check crime."
