MUMBAI: BJP today sought narco test on guilty officers named in Chitale committee report and resignation of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, who was then Irrigation Minister, saying there was large-scale corruption in Maharashtra irrigation projects.

"There should be a narco test of guilty officers named in the Chitale Committee report. The narco test will reveal which ministers are guilty," Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Vinod Tawde said.

"I demand Ajit Pawar's resignation," he said. "If officers are guilty then ministers are also guilty. So the then irrigation minister Ajit Pawar is also guilty," Tawde said.

The narco tests of concerned officers will reveal which ministers were involved in the irrigation scam, Tawde said.
