The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) protested here on Saturday against Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto's comments about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the morning, Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule, several party MLAs, and other leaders joined the rally at Tilak Chowk.

They set fire to Pakistani flags and shouted anti-Pakistan slogans. "We will not tolerate any criticism of our prime minister. PM Narendra Modi is the one who is working tirelessly to save our Hindu religion, and Pakistan is blind to it. This is why they make such claims.

We will not tolerate such remarks from Pakistan in the future "According to Bawankule. Chitra Wagh, the head of the BJP's state women's wing, and Murlidhar Mohol, the former mayor of Pune, also took part in the protest.

After India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar outlined the neighbouring country's support for different terror groups and described the nation as the "epicentre of terrorism" at a United Nations Security Council meeting, Pakistan's foreign minister made remarks against PM Modi and slammed the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
