BJP protests against 'corruption' in Noida authority
NOIDA: Close on the heels of suspension of Noida Authority Engineer-in-Chief Yadav Singh following IT raids, several BJP activists led by party's state president Lakshmikant Vajpayee and Union Minister Mahesh Sharma today protested against the alleged "corruption" in the authority.

Hundreds of BJP workers who assembled at Lal Mandir in Sector 1 and 2 road, proceeded to authority office at Sector 6 and held protest demonstration here.

Later, a BJP delegation met Authority Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Rama Raman and demanded the 'Look Out' and CBCID closure report of Yadav Singh case from him.

The delegation asked the chairman how Singh got promotion and plum posting, violating all norms and what action the authority has taken against him and other corrupt officials.

The raids were carried out in Delhi and NCR region in connection with sale of plots in Noida through bogus share holdings and later Yadav Singh was suspended by the Uttar Pradesh government earlier this month.
