Releasing the manifesto here, Nadda hit out at the Congress and dubbed its manifesto as a "diluted document". On the other hand, the BJP had presented its report card after coming to power sharing details of the fulfilment of the promises made it by before the polls.
BJP's manifesto, which was released a day after the Congress' announced its seven guarantees, promised ₹2,100 per month to women -- ₹100 more than that promised by Congress.
The twenty-point manifesto includes cooking cylinders to BPL families for ₹500, full scholarship to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Other Backward Class (OBC) students in government medical and engineering colleges.
Eyeing the OBC voters, the BJP also promised loans of up to ₹25 lakh for all OBC category entrepreneurs, in addition to the Mudra scheme. It also promised guaranteed government jobs to 2 lakh youth. It has also promised other employment opportunities for 5 lakh youth and monthly stipend from the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme.
