BJP President Amit Shah to visit West Bengal on August 12

This will be Amit Shah's second visit to Bengal this year after July 7 when he conducted the "Maha Sampark Abhiyan" at Howrah.

KOLKATA: BJP president Amit Shah will visit West Bengal on August 12, according to party's state unit chief Rahul Sinha.

"Amit Shah will visit Bengal on August 12. He has a programme at a chamber of commerce followed by a book launch. We have a plan to organise a party programme too," Sinha told PTI.

This will be Amit Shah's second visit to Bengal this year after July 7 when he conducted the "Maha Sampark Abhiyan" at Howrah.

According to BJP leaders, BJP observer in charge of Bengal Kailash Vijayvargia along with Siddharth Nath Singh will be coming to Bengal in the first week of August to take stock of the party organistaion in Bengal.
