BJP plans Vijay Sankalp Yatra in MP
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is preparing to conduct Vijay Sankalp Yatra (victory resolution march) in Madhya Pradesh with participation of senior leaders from the state and centre. The yatra will be launched at the end of July from five place...

The yatra will begin by the month-end and the details are being finalised, Sharma told ET. "The victory march has already begun with Union home minister Amit Shah coming to guide us. By the end of this month the yatra will be on track," he said. The development comes after a meeting of the party's core committee in the state with Shah on Tuesday.
The BJP is planning to flag off the march from five places - Gwalior-Chambal, Mahakaushal, Vindhya, Bundelkhand and Malwa region - covering the entire state.
Union ministers Jyotiraditya Scindia, Narendra Singh Tomar, Prahlad Patel and Faggan Singh Kulaste could lead the yatras, said party functionaries. Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will join the yatra on all the routes, they said.
The party will hold public meetings, road shows and mass contact programmes during the yatra.
"We have a strong network of party workers up to the booth level. After Karnataka (polls), Congress has seen some light. But that is not going to work in MP," said Sharma.
Shah is scheduled to visit MP again on July 30 and is likely to flag off the yatras, according to people in the know. The newly appointed election incharge and co-incharge Bhupender Yadav and Ashwini Vaishnav will visit Bhopal next week to further discuss the party's campaign strategy, they said.
