“Those who fear Majlis can remain so, but the BJP is not afraid of Majlis. We never do the politics of appeasement,” Shah added.
Union home and co-operative minister Amit Shah on Friday said that BJP doesn’t support the idea of reservation based on religion and the party doesn’t do appeasement politics.

“We strongly oppose reservation based on religion. This is against our constitution. The BJP strongly opposes it,” Shah said while speaking in Nirmal district on Telangana Liberation Day. He attacked the TRS government for giving reservation based on religion for appeasement politics.

“Those who fear Majlis can remain so, but the BJP is not afraid of Majlis. We never do the politics of appeasement,” Shah added.

Shah also expressed confidence that in 2024, BJP will form the government in Telangana. He also attacked KCR for aligning with AIMIM leader Assaduddin Owaisi. “Some people feel that they will be saved by joining hands with Owaisi. But the people of Telangana are very aware and intelligent and those who feel they will be saved are wrong,” he said. Shah added that BJP is getting stronger with each passing day and Congress can never be an alternative to the TRS in the state.
