BJP not strong opposition in Maharashtra: Pankaja Munde

The criticism seems aimed at both Fadnavis and Patil who have in the past spoken of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government not being stable and have frequently spoken about it falling at any time.

In an apparent targeting fellow BJP leaders Devendra Fadnavis and Chandrakant Patil, Pankaja Munde on Friday publicly criticised her own party for not being a 'strong opposition' and getting involved in needless slanging matches with the Maha Vikas Aghadi government instead of fighting real issues.

"I don't know who cast an evil eye on our progressive Maharashtra. The state politics resembles fights inside the Big Boss house. This is unfortunate," said Pankaja while addressing a public function at Ahmednagar on Friday.

Pankaja said that both the government and the opposition should play their roles properly. "We have to behave like a strong opposition. We have convey to the pople clearly what we did while in power,"said Pankaja, adding, "We have to play our roles instead of waiting for the government to fall today or tomorrow."

The criticism seems aimed at both Fadnavis and Patil who have in the past spoken of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government not being stable and have frequently spoken about it falling at any time.
