BJP MPs, ministers to take classes on digital transactions
Ministers will stress the need for Unified Payment Interface (UPI), wallets, SMS banking, etc. Also, available apps to facilitate cashless payments.

Niti Ayog officials are training ministers on how to make cashless transactions by using software applications.
As per available information, these ministers and MPs will be visiting their respective constituencies and hold sessions with the public, demonstrating the use of digital payment modes. Some have even prepared rosters to meet the public and underscore the need to go cashless.
Minister for law, electronics and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad will be visiting Patna on December 3 to hold one such session, while Minister for Women and Child Development Maneka Gandhi will be making a trip to her constituency Pilibhit on December 7.
During their public interaction, the ministers will stress the need for Unified Payment Interface (UPI), wallets, SMS banking, etc. Also, available apps to facilitate cashless payments will be shared with the public during the interactions.
Some of the available apps, as shared by the Niti Ayog officials with the ministers, are “SBI app, PNB UPI, UPI Collect (ICICI), Axis Pay, Canara Bank UPI, UCO UPI, Union Bank UPI, OBC UPI and 20 other banks. Third party apps are Trupay, Phonepe, UPI Pay, Mypoolin, etc”.
