BJP MLC Surinder Ambardar urges Rajnath Singh to increase efficiency of J&K govt

JAMMU: BJP MLC Surinder Ambardar has urged Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to set up proper mechanism for perennial monitoring and accountability to increase the efficiency of coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir.

Ambardar, who met Singh at Raj Bhawan yesterday, also emphasized on the need to work on reduction of trust deficit so that the connect with people at large is strengthened, a press release said here today.

The BJP MLC stressed on the need to make development issues their priority as people expect a lot from the current BJP-PDP coalition government.

The expectations need to be fulfilled so that the "gloom of hopelessness", created by the previous government, is eradicated and the state also figures in the list of progressive states of the country, he said.
