BJP MLAs donate one months salary, perks for Jammu and Kashmir flood victims
JAIPUR: BJP MLAs today announced in the state Assembly their decision to donate their one month's salary and perks for relief and rehabilitation of Jammu and Kashmir flood victims.

Chief Whip K L Gurjar asked Opposition members including those of Congress to come forward for this noble cause.

Opposition Whip Govind Singh Dotasar and senior Congress leader Pradhyuman Singh said it was a very good move, but the Raje government should also restart relief package and jobs on compassionate ground to Uttarakhand victims as announced by the previous Gehlot government.

"We are not refusing to donate...," Singh said, adding Congress MLAs would do it in their own way, but Uttarakhand victims' grievances should be addressed first.
