BJP misleading people on oil refinery: Ashok Gehlot
Ashok Gehlot today slammed BJP for politicising state government's proposed oil refinery at Barmar district.

Addressing a public meeting in Kota district yesterday as part of Congress-organised 'Sandesh Yatra', Gehlot said the refinery will be a milestone for the state and BJP was creating a controversy only to mislead people.
The refinery was first proposed at Leelala village of Barmer district, however the location was later shifted to Pachpabara area of the same district.
BJP has alleged that Congress leaders would benefit from the acquisition of land for the proposed refinery.
Taking a dig at the Vasundhara Raje-led state BJP unit, Gehlot said, "BJP leaders have begun Suraj Sankalp Yatra in the state, but they are being laughed at for the misrule during their tenure."
With the state receiving excess rainfall this year, Gehlot said the BJP leaders do not have a fresh issue to take on the Rajasthan government and therefore, are tight-lipped.
Gehlot also announced Centre's approval of Rs 2360 crore for Parvan Dam Project, work for which would begin soon.
The project would provide drinking water and irrigation facilities to people of Kota, Baran and Jhalawar districts, he said.
During the yatra, Gehlot inaugurated a bridge on River Parvan in Sangod village and laid the foundation stone for the renovation of Kaithoon-Baparwa-Kawai National Highway No. 51.
