BJP Minority unit demands CBI probe into misuse of Wakf funds

HYDERABAD: BJP Minority Morcha Andhra Pradesh unit on Saturday demanded a CBI inquiry into the alleged misappropriation of Wakf funds by the State Wakf Board Chief Executive Officer Shaik Madar.

In a statement here, the Morcha state unit president Haneef Ali alleged that Madar was involved in misapprorpation of Wakf funds and he should be suspected from the post.

If the government failed to take action, BJP Minority Morcha state unit would launch an indefinite strike in support of their demand, he warned.
