Mukesh Sharma went on to allege that BJP was responsible for the rubbish lying in the parks and the loss of green cover.

"BJP leaders, instead of sincerely getting involved in the cleanliness campaign, have restricted themselves to spreading wastes and then enacting the drama of cleaning them for the purpose of creating photo opportunities," DPCC chief spokesperson Mukesh Sharma said.
Citing the incident that happened at the Islamic Centre, the DPCC leader said, "Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyaya first threw the wastes around and then cleaned them in front of the media for creating a photo opportunity."
