BJP kickstarts 'Chalo Bihar Abhiyan'

CHANDIGARH: BJP today appealed the people of Bihar living in various parts of the Punjab to ensure its victory in upcoming Bihar assembly polls.

Addressing the gathering of 'Parvasi Cell' of the party, Punjab BJP in charge Parbhat Jha, said that the Bihar assembly polls is the occasion where people of Bihar hold a chance to change the fortunes of the under-developed state.

"People of Bihar have always showed a character of honesty and dignity on various occasions be it the development in South or the Eastern part of the country or the Green Revolution in North India, the labourer of Bihar have contributed a lot," the MP said.

However, it's unfortunate that the people of Bihar especially the youth did not get the recognition and due share in the development due to the failure of the political leadership, Jha said.

"The failure of political leadership is the reason that when rest of the states are scripting new chapters in development,...Bihar is listed among the worst states...BJP is ready to change the scenario but for that people of Bihar would have to ensure that each and every individual working in Punjab votes for our party," Jha said.

Punjab BJP president Kamal Sharma said that BJP has changed the overall image of the country in its over one year rule and the entire globe is now witnessing our country as the next super power.

He said that now it's the time of the people of Bihar to catch the opportunity and give powers to those who have already proved it while ruling the country.
