BJP issues show cause notices to 19 workers in Rajasthan

JAIPUR: BJP today issued show cause notices to 19 workers for allegedly working against the party in panchayat elections held in Rajasthan earlier this year.

The decision was taken by BJP's disciplinary committee during a meeting today at the party's office here.

"The notices were issued to 19 workers and one matter was forwarded to the chief minister," Srikrishna Patidar, member secretary of the committee, said.

Patidar said that those who had been issued the show cause notices were involved in anti-party activities during the panchayat polls in Rajasthan.
