BJP ignored Himachal Pradesh's interest: CM Virbhadra Singh
Himachal Pradesh CM Virbhadra Singh launched a water supply scheme & announced opening of a degree college as he lashed out at BJP accusing it of ignoring interest of state.

"Whatever development that has taken place in the state is due to sincere efforts of successive Congress governments," he told a public meeting at Baragaon.
"Today Himachal is a role model for hill states and occupies a prominent place in the category of big states.
All the Congress governments focussed on balanced and uniform development of Himachal while the previous BJP regime ignored the interest of the hill state, the Chief Minister said after inaugurating the water supply scheme.
The scheme would cater to needs of 11,000 people of 82 hamlets in five Panchayats.
Virbhadra announced opening of a government degree college at Kumarsain, a sub-tehsil for Kotgarh and upgrading of the community health centre, Kumarsain, to 50-bed hospital.
The state government is providing 80 per cent subsidy on anti-hail nets, he said adding this is the only effective way to save apple trees and crop from hailstorms.
He alleged the previous BJP government had introduced the outdated anti-hail gun technology which had failed many years back in Europe.
