BJP holds blood donation camp on its foundation day
The Jammu and Kashmir unit of the BJP organised a blood donation camp today to commemorate the 33rd foundation day of the party.
The camp was organised in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society and Department of Blood Transfusion Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar.
While addressing a gathering of party activists, State President Shamsher Singh Manhas narrated a series of developments which led to the formation of the Bharatiya Janata Party at the national level.
He said April 6 is a very significant day in the history of the party as it laid the foundation of the second largest political party in India, which succeeded in breaking the political monopoly of Indian National Congress in the country.
National Executive Member Dr Nirmal Singh asked party members to work for the ideals for which the BJP. National Executive Member and MLA Ashok Khajuria said that the party is constantly fighting against anti-national both inside the legislative assembly as well as outside.
