BJP hits out at grand alliance after Patna airport removes Modi posters
NEW DELHI: BJP today hit out at Bihar's grand alliance, after all poll banners and posters featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi were removed from the Patna airport, stating that the opposition was acting out of " frustration" and claimed Modi continues to reign in people's heart.

The banners and posters were today removed from the premises of Patna Airport after the grand alliance moved Election Commission, saying the posters were "flagrant violation of norms".

"Modi has become a symbol of development for people. These leaders may succeed in getting his posters removed but he remains to rule the heart of people. The verdict of people will make it clear. It will be for a stable and corruption- free government as promised by the Prime Minister," BJP secretary Shrikant Sharma said.

He alleged that the complaint by the leaders of RJD-JD(U) combine was a reflection of their "frustration" following the first phase elections which, he claimed, had added to their concerns.

A delegation comprising of K C Tyagi (JD-U), R P N Singh (Congress), Manoj Jha (RJD) along with senior lawyer K T S Tulsi had submitted a memorandum to the Chief Election Commissioner giving details of such posters and banners carrying the pictures of BJP leaders and its election symbol at the airport.

The Bihar elections, scheduled in five phases, began its first phase on October 12, with counting of votes slated for November 8.
