BJP hits back at NC-Congress; says Opposition being ignorant on development steps
In a short time, merely of seven months, the PDP-BJP government has many achievements to its credit, including the efficiency restored in all government departments, he said.

"We express surprise on the ignorance of the leaders of National Conference and state Congress about the fast development initiatives taken by the present PDP-BJP coalition and their forgetfulness about their failures and non-performance in most of the fields," BJP state spokesperson Virender Gupta told reporters here.
In a short time, merely of seven months, the PDP-BJP government has many achievements to its credit, including the efficiency restored in all government departments, he said.
Virender alleged that the previous NC-Congress government completely collapsed when the state was gripped by the unprecedented floods. "It took about a week for the then Chief Minister to call even the state cabinet meeting."
The BJP leader further claimed that under the NC-Congress coalition, most of the time-bound projects remained incomplete and a good percentage of grants sanctioned by the Centre remained unspent and lapsed.
Citing an example, he claimed, "An example of unfinished work is the construction of a new building for Sri Pratap Singh Museum, which started in 2008 to be completed within two years at the estimated cost of Rs. 65 crore, but still remains incomplete in 2015."
Attacking the NC and Congress leaders, he said "those living in glass houses should not dare to throw stones on others 'pucca' houses and must appreciate the good work of others as it is a symbol of healthy politics in a democracy."
