BJP files complaint against Manish Sisodia for 'violating' poll code
Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari alleged that their "repeated" violations of the Model Code of Conduct were proof of the Arvind Kejriwal-led party's "anarchic" nature.

Hitting out at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari alleged that their "repeated" violations of the Model Code of Conduct were proof of the Arvind Kejriwal-led party's "anarchic" nature.
The BJP alleged that Sisodia, during an interview with a private news channel today, appealed to the people to vote for the AAP in the MCD elections.
Delhi BJP vice president Abhay Verma and legal team member Neeraj immediately filed a complaint with the SEC, seeking legal action against Sisodia, the party said in a statement.
In the statement, Tiwari alleged that the repeated violations of the Model Code of Conduct by AAP leaders, including during the Assembly elections in Delhi, Punjab and Goa, were proof of Kejriwal's party's "anarchic nature".
Polling to elect Delhi's municipal councillors ended at 5.30 PM today with a voter turnout of around 54 per cent.
Polling was held in 270 wards of the three municipal corporations. In two wards, the election was postponed due to the death of candidates.
A total of 1,32,10,206 voters were entitled to exercise their franchise to elect the councillors for the 270 wards under the three corporations -- NDMC (103 wards), SDMC (104) and EDMC (63).
