BJP drafts list to expose AAP 'lies'
NEW DELHI: In a bid to expose the Aam Aadmi Party, Delhi BJP released a 49-point list of issues on which the party either lied or misled the people.

In its power-point presentation named "Kejriwal: Kal, Aaj aur Kal", Delhi BJP chief Harsh Vardhan questioned AAP leader Kejriwal on issues ranging from party's soft stand on corrupt Congress leader to selection of candidates for Lok Sabha elections.

"Kejriwal and his party have lied at every step. Before the assembly elections, he swore on his kids that he will not take support from Congress or BJP to form the government. But the party took support from the Congress. Similarly, he asked for a government accommodation and all his ministers used official vehicles whenAAP was in power,'' said Vardhan in his hour-long presentation on Thursday.

With less than 20 days left for Lok Sabha polls, BJP has sharpened its attack on AAP — its prime rival in the city now. In its election campaign, BJP candidates will stress on the electricity and water tariff mess created by the AAP. "They promised a lot in the election manifesto, but failed to deliver. In its short stint, they only complicated the system. Delhiites are now paying the price for the mess they created," he said.

The presentation was a compilation of controversies surrounding AAP which have surfaced in the recent past. "They have given ticket to a former IAS, Yudhvir Singh Khalaylia, who had given clean chit to Robert Vadhra. The party had raised the issue of Vadhra's land deal. They had also said they will get the land deal cases against Prashant Bhushan, Anjali Damania and Mayank Gandhi investigated independently by retired Justice AP Shah. But they are yet to tell people about the findings. They are also associated with people like Maoist sympathizer Binayak Sen; Sandeep Pandey who was part of Justice for Afzal Guru campaign. There are many such issues on which they have to come out clean," said Vardhan.
