BJP demands publication of `White Paper" on land issue
Andhra Pradesh BJP has demanded a `White Paper' on land issue since it had been creating a frequent law and order problem in the state, party general secretary S Veeraraju said.

VIJAYWADA: Andhra Pradesh BJP has demanded a `White Paper' on land issue since it had been creating a frequent law and order problem in the state, party general secretary S Veeraraju said.
Land distribution to poor is a continous process but the Left Parties made it a big issue, to project their existence and had been creating law and order problem in the state, Veeraraju told reporters on Thursday.
He said every municipality, corporation and mandal areas could bring out the list of available land and also the assigned lands with some unauthorised people. In certain areas land were distributed but the people were not given pattas, he said.
He said BJP had ten-years back launched an agitation demanding land for the tiller, which it still maintains to demand but in a peaceful manner.
Veeraraju said there was rampant corruption in the +Jalayagnam+ programme of AP government. "Even after three years the government could not complete any major projects," he said.
