BJP dare not take my name in any case: Mamata’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee
Keeping up his attack on the BJP, Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee said: “Don't underestimate the TMC. If you try to fight with the Sun, your hands will get burnt.”

“The court has answered Mukul Roy who made allegations against me. I am a brave son of the soil..if they have the guts, let them move against me,” he said. Keeping up his attack on the BJP, Banerjee said: “Don't underestimate the TMC. If you try to fight with the Sun, your hands will get burnt.”
Addressing a public rally at South 24 Parganas, the district which has his Parliamentary constituency too, Banerjee took a jibe at disgruntled Trinamool MLA Suvendu Adhikari, saying the TMC is a grassroots party and nobody has been able to parachute down on it or use a lift to rise within it.
Adhikari, who resigned as a minister in the Mamata Banerjee cabinet on Friday, had earlier said that he has risen through the party ranks and has not landed from the top using a parachute or taken the lift to move upward. Banerjee's comments come amid speculations over the next move of Adhikari who stepped down from the Mamata Banerjee cabinet on Friday, but has not quit the party or resigned as an MLA.
