BJP creates ruckus in both houses of Bihar legislature
Opposition BJP members today created ruckus in both Houses of the Bihar legislature following rejection of their adjournment motion on various issues.

As soon as the Assembly convened at 11 AM to take up the business of the final day, BJP members briefly raised slogans against the state government, alleging loss of revenue to different departments due to wayward decisions, as pointed out by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India ( CAG) in its recent report. But they soon took their seats on the intervention of Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary and Leader of Opposition Nandkishore Yadav.
Over the next one hour, the House took up short notice and starred questions on issues mostly related to health, electricity and planning departments.
As soon as the Question Hour ended at noon, the Speaker announced his decision to reject four adjournment motions tabled by the ruling and opposition members on divergent issues after which BJP members trooped into the well of the House and raised slogans against the state government.
With the House being drowned in noisy slogan shouting by the agitated BJP members, Chaudhary adjourned the house till 2 PM.
In the Council, Chairperson Awadesh Narayan Singh also adjourned the House till 2 PM after BJP MLCs trooped into the well after their demand for adjournment motions on the alleged purification of a temple in Madhubani district within hours of Chief Minister's visit there four months ago and on the Gandhi Maidan stampede here during Dusshera festival.
