New Delhi: BJP councillor from East Delhi Shashi Chandna sustained serious injuries after being attacked by stray cattle, and is currently undergoing treatment in East Delhi, she told PTI on Thursday.

Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) councillor Shashi Chandna from Mandawali ward and associated with BJP, said she was attacked on Wednesday while returning from a nearby temple around 10 am on June 24 in her constituency. "The cattle charged at me from the front and flung me into the air. I hit my head on the road and got a few more injuries," Chandna told PTI over the phone.
