Significantly, the session saw Nabin adopt an interactive, informal and freewheeling approach, repeatedly engaging leaders on key organisational issues and actively seeking suggestions and feedback -- indicating a shift towards a more consultative style of functioning.
The meeting assumes added importance as Nabin looks to constitute a new team of BJP national office-bearers under his leadership.
Party leaders said Nabin stressed strengthening booth-level machinery, enhancing coordination across units and sharpening grassroots outreach, reiterating that electoral success must rest on a robust cadre base.
The leadership also reviewed preparations for upcoming assembly polls and discussed plans to leverage the Modi government's 12-year governance record through targeted campaigns and outreach initiatives.

Addressing reporters after the meeting, BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra said, "A long meeting of senior party workers was held today presided by BJP chief Nitin Nabin. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, India has progressed in every sector, and the party has simultaneously expanded its organisational footprint across the country."
Highlighting expansion as the core agenda, Patra said, "You will observe that under the leadership of Nitin Nabin ji, a monumental shift is about to take place in the BJP's working methodology -- how to engage youth, empower women, strengthen SC/ST communities and expand among professionals."
