BJP cancels all its programmes for Wednesday in Gujarat

GANDHINAGAR: In view of the terror attack on the Amarnath Yatrees, Gujarat BJP has cancelled all its scheduled programmes for Wednesday.

The national President of the party Amit Shah was scheduled to address the page presidents of seven districts of North Gujarat at Gandhinagar and also address another meeting at Gandhinagar Townhall. BJP’s Presidential candidate Ramnath Kevin was also scheduled to meet the Gujarat MLAs on Wednesday.

However with all the victims of the attack being residents of Gujarat, the party has cancelled all the events for Wednesday. In a statement issued by BJP spokesperson Bharat Pandya said that the Chief Minister is in constant touch with the centre on this issue.
