BJP-BPF-AGP alliance will win 30 to 40 seats in second phase of Assam polls: Hangrama Mohilary
BPF in the run up to assembly polls has sought Rs 1000 Crore package as condition for supporting BJP. Congress and UPP has made the denial of package to BTC has an election issue.

Mohilary who was campaigning for BPF candidate in Dadgri told ET, “BPF alone will win 13 seats. On Friday I had elaborate discussion with Prime minister, Narendra Modi who was in Assam for poll campaigning regarding the development of sixth schedule area of Bodoland territorial council (BTC). Modi has assured all support.”
BPF which is ruling BTC since 2005 is battling anti incumbency. Congress poll pact with Bodoland based United People’s party (UPP). All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) is contesting several seats in BTC.

In the crucial second phase BJP is contesting around 36 seats, rest of the seats are contested by its allies AGP and BPF.
