NEW DELHI: BJP national secretary and Delhi co-incharge Tarun Chugh today challenged Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to remove three tainted Aam Aadmi Party MLAs from the Assembly.

In a statement, Chugh said that three AAP MLAs -- Somnath Bharti, Jitendra Tomar and Manoj Kumar -- have committed "offences" and were not fit to continue as members of the Delhi Assembly.

He also said that Delhi Government should convene a special session of Assembly to "disqualify and divest" these three MLAs.

Bharti is lodged in jail in a connection with cases of domestic violence and attempt to murder, while Tomar is accused of "faking" his law degree. Police have also booked AAP MLA Manoj Kumar of "cheating and forgery".
