BJP asks Arunachal to approach Centre on China hydro projects

ITANAGAR: The BJP in Arunachal Pradesh has expressed concern over China's proposed construction of new hydro power projects over the Brahmaputra and asked the state government to take up the issue with the Centre.

BJP spokesman Tai Tagak in a statement today said that keeping in mind the possible adverse impact of the power projects on the river and people of the state, the state government should press on the Centre to enter into talks with China over the matter.
