BJP appoints poll in-charge for four states
BJP now follows a strategy of appointing election in-charges, who work in co-ordination with the existing state in-charges to maximise their resources and campaign planning.

BJP general secretary Bhupender Yadav has been given charge of Maharashtra. A close aide of BJP president Amit Shah, Yadav has handled crucial assignments such as Rajasthan, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Bihar, UP to name a few. The two co-incharges to assist him are UP deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and former Karnataka MLA Laxma Savadi.
Union minister Prakash Javadekar has been given the responsibility of Delhi and two other ministers Hardeep Puri and Nityanand Rai has been made co-incharges for Delhi keeping in mind the Punjabi and Purvanchali population there . Javadekar was handling the Rajasthan assembly elections last year.
Another Uion minister Narendra Singh Tomar has been appointed as in-charge of Haryana with UP minister Bhupendra Singh as co-incharge.
In Jharkhand, the party has deployed Om Prakash Mathur as in-charge and Bihar minister Nand Kishor Yadav as co-incharge.
Apart from the regular state incharges, BJP now follows a strategy of appointing election in-charges, who work in co-ordination with the existing state in-charges to maximise their resources and campaign planning. This system is followed to the lower level where every assembly and district gets a ‘Vistarak’.
