BJP appeals people to help Bihar flood victims

NEW DELHI: The Delhi unit of BJP on Tuesday appealed to the citizens of the national capital to donate generously to the flood-affected people of Bihar.

"People of Bihar are facing an unprecedented flood situation and we all should extend our help to the affected people," Delhi BJP president Harsh Vardhan said, addressing a press conference here.

He said BJP has set up a disaster relief fund for the flood victims and citizens can donate their contribution to the fund.

"Apart from money, the citizens can donate bed-sheets, blankets, saree, dhoti, tent, medicines and other non-perishable items," Vardhan said.
