BJP announces new national office-bearers team under President Nitin Nabin; Smriti Irani, Piyush Goyal among key names, check full list

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday announced its new team of national office-bearers under party president Nitin Nabin, with several new faces being assigned key organisational responsibilities.

Among the prominent leaders from the previous team to be retained are Sunil Bansal and Vinod Tawde, who will continue as national general secretaries.

The BJP has appointed 13 national vice presidents, including former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia, former Uttarakhand chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat, Ram Madhav, Baijayant Panda, D Purandeshwari, Rekha Verma, Varshaben Narendrabhai Doshi, Bharti Pravin Pawar, Manpreet Singh Badal, Lal Singh Arya, M Nagaraja, Tariq Mansoor and Madhuchandra Kar.

B.L. Santhosh will continue as National General Secretary (Organisation), while Shivprakash and Saudan Singh have been appointed National Joint General Secretaries (Organisation).

The new team of national general secretaries includes Vinod Tawde, Sunil Bansal, Biplab Kumar Deb, Smriti Irani, Satish Poonia, Gajendra Patel, Harish Dwivedi and Sanjay Bhatia.

The party has also appointed 16 national secretaries, including K Surendran, Bhola Singh, Pradip Varma, Sandeep Pathak, Phangnon Konyak, Anil Antony, M Venkateshan, Manoj Tigga and Rohan Gupta.

Piyush Goyal has been appointed National Treasurer, while Rajesh Mangal will serve as National Joint Treasurer. Tarun Chugh has been named Central Office In-charge and Mahendra Pandey Central Office Secretary.

The party has also announced appointments for its various morchas. Dr Hemang Joshi will head the Yuva Morcha, Roop Kumari Choudhary the Mahila Morcha, Amarpal Maurya the OBC Morcha, Bansilal Gurjar the Kisan Morcha, Shivesh Kumar Ram the SC Morcha, Mannalal Rawat the ST Morcha and Kunwar Basit Ali the Minority Morcha.

Anil Baluni has been appointed Media Convenor, while Deepak Mhaskey will serve as Social Media Convenor.

The appointments, according to the BJP's press release, come into effect immediately.
