BJP announces mass contact programme on nullifying Article 370

“Under the mass contact programme, the entire party leadership, ministers, CMs and other office bearers would meet intellectuals, celebrities and noted personalities,” Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan said. “We will explain to them how withdrawal of 370 would help people from Kashmir and improve the quality of life in the state.”
The organising committee would be headed by Pradhan and BJP national general secretary Muralidhar Rao. The other members of the committee are Union ministers V Muraleedharan and Jitendra Singh, former Union minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and party leader Gaurav Bhatia.
Several door-to-door campaigns, meetings and rallies would be organised across the country under the public awareness programme to make people aware of the benefits of withdrawal of Article 370. “The dream of one nation one Constitution was long awaited for the people of the country and under the leadership of PM Modi and home minister Amit Shah, the dream came true during the budget session of the Parliament,” said Shekhawat, who will head the public awareness campaign committee. The other members of the committee are Union minister Prahlad Joshi, BJP national secretary Satya Kumar, party vice-president Jai Panda and young MPs, Jamyang Namgyal and Tejashvi Surya.
