BJP aiming to create law and order problem, impose President's rule : Tarun Gogoi
GUWAHATI: With thousands of BJP workers protesting against Congress government in Guwahati on Wednesday, Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi said that BJP is trying to create law and order problem in the state. Gogoi said that BJP is inciting communal riots and extremists to oust the Congress government in the state and enforce President's Rule ahead of next year’s Assembly elections. BJP organised Dispur Ghareo alleging huge corruption in the 15-year Congress rule in Assam.

Gogoi said this protest is nothing but a cover up for BJP could not deliver on the pre-poll promise “The BJP is also trying to incite communal riots in places like Silchar and Dhubri and we have intelligence report on it. It is also inciting extremists to strike violence.” State has claimed that BJP did not have the permission for organizing the rally.
