BJP, Aam Aadmi Party should join hands to form government in Delhi: Congress
Congress today suggested that it is BJP and Aam Aadmi Party who should join hands to form the government in the national capital.

"Since both BJP, due to non-performance of the Narendra Modi government in the last 50 days, and Arvind Kejriwal, whose AAP secured a lead only in nine Assembly seats in Lok Sabha polls, are afraid of people of Delhi, they should form an alliance to come to power," AICC General Secretary Shakeel Ahmed told reporters here.
The remarks by Ahmed, the party's in-charge for Delhi affairs, came on a day when Congress presented all its eight Delhi legislators before the media in a bid to put up a united front.
Ahmed further said that Congress is not afraid of fresh elections in the national capital.
Meanwhile, in reaction to the arrest of AAP's Delhi unit secretary and four other party volunteers for allegedly instigating people by putting up posters with provocative messages, Ahmed accused the Kejriwal-led party of fomenting communal trouble in Delhi, especially in those areas where Congress leaders are the municipal corporators.
"I used to call Kejriwal a miniature Narendra Modi and Modi a larger Kejriwal. He (Kejriwal) has proved me right with his party resorting to such actions. It is very unfortunate," Ahmed said.
