Bird flu: Delhi govt bans import of packaged or processed meat
Delhi government on January 11 banned import of packaged or processed meat in view of bird flu. “If we look in the current situation, then only the samples (of ducks) that had been taken from Sanjay Lake, tested positive for bird flu. We are reviewing the area and have sanitised it. Apart from that, no need to worry as such. Some more samples have been sent to Jalandhar whose results are awaited.
