Bihar minister dozes while Nitish highlights performance

PATNA: A senior Bihar minister Narendra Singh today dozed while Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was presenting the annual performance report of his government.

Singh, the Agriculture minister, sitting on the second chair on Kumar's right side was twice captured by the lens having forty winks.

Rural Development minister Nitish Mishra tapped Singh on the back, while Chief Secretary Ashok Kumar Sinha also did the same as the audience could be seen laughing.

The chief minister chose to ignore the episode and continued with the achievements of his government despite walking alone after the departure of the BJP from the coalition.

Singh, had recently courted controversy by describing Pakistan as a younger brother when the entire country was outraged at the killing of five Indian soldiers.

Recently, he had described Narendra Modi as the 'biggest terrorist of the country' which many of his own party-men did not take well.
