PATNA: The Bihar legislative council on Tuesday unanimously adopted a censure motion against Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thakeray for his ‘anti-Bihari’ remarks. Raising the issue during zero hour, Kedar Pande of the CPI pressed for an adjournment motion to discuss the “anti-Bihari” statements of Raj Thackeray, the estranged nephew of Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray. The demand was, however, turned down by acting chairman Arun since it was not in order.

Kumar said instead of pressing for an adjournment motion on the issue, the house should bring a censure motion against Raj’s remarks.
