NEW DELHI: Bihar government has decided to start “Lok Samvad” programme from December month. State Cabinet, which met on Friday, cleared a proposal in this regard.

State government aims to ensure participation of citizens in the state government’s policy and programme meant.

The government will invite suggestions from the people on its policy and programme relating to different sectors such as social, infrastructure, industry, administrative system, democratic institutions and Human Rights. The “Lok Samvad” programme would be organized either at 1, Anne Marg, CM House or “Samvad” hall in Patna or outside Patna on the first, second and third Monday (Except Gazetted holidays) of every month.

All suggestions letters, which will be received, would be monitored by the CM Secretariat and Cabinet department.
