Bihar Congress to go for greater use of social media
Bihar Cong has decided to connect its workers with the social media so that they could present the party viewpoint in a more effective manner.
The Bihar unit of party's decision for popularising social media among its workers followed a workshop at Delhi on August 22, state party spokesman Rajesh Kumar Sinha said in a statement here today.
Congressmen in the state would be imparted training in effective use of social media from second week of September, he said.
State party President Ashok Chaudhary had ordered to link all district units with the state headquarters through video conferencing, he added.
The BPCC chief himself is extensively using facebook and twitter, he said adding more computers with internet facility were being installed in the state party headquarters "Sadaquat Ashram" for greater use particularly by the media cell.
Arrangements are being made so that the press conference or other programme at the national level could be seen directly at district level through video conferencing, Sinha said.
