Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on JNU row: Centre trying to divert people's attention
Coming out in support of JNU’s student union president, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said the centre is trying to divert the people’s attention.

CM Kumar was talking to reporters after holding his regular "Janata Durbar" in Patna on Monday.
"Bagair Emergency Lagaye wo sari cheese karne kee koshish kee ja rahi hai. (Without officially declaring emergency, attempt is being made to impose all things which remain in place during emergency)," CM Kumar further said.
He added Central government has badly failed on the economic front. According to him, banks are not in good position and growth rate is reducing while import is badly affected. The centre failed to get benefit from the fall in the price of petroleum in the international market. "Now, they try to divert people’s attention from their failure and impose their own definition of nationalism on the country," he said.
He also said this attitude may oust them from power in 2019. Economic condition is deteriorating and there is reduction is centre’s shares in centrally-sponsored schemes.
