PATNA: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar held a six-hour long marathon interaction with public here today during which he heard their problems and instructed officials to redress the grievances.

"The CM heard complaints of 826 people including 150 women during the weekly Janata Ke Darbar Mein Mukhya Mantri programme today," officials at the Chief Minister's Office said.

Kumsr heard people's problems from 10.30 AM to 4.30 PM and instructed ministers and officials of the departments concerned to redress the grievances, they said.

Today was the second interaction programme held by Kumar since assuming office after the Assembly elections. He held a marathon nine-hour interaction programme on February 1.

This was also the first experience at such a programme for Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav.

"It's a good experience," Tejaswi told reporters.

"A large number of people visit my father Lalu Prasad with their problems during which I also remain present. We are always with the people, this is nothing unusual for me," he said.

Asked about the allegations that RJD chief Lalu Prasad was holding a parallel 'Janata Darbar', Tejaswi rubbished them and said all leaders of the alliance were working to take the state forward under the leadership of Nitish Kumar.

"Senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi also holds Janata Darbar, so what is wrong if Lalu Prasad interacts with the masses?" he asked.

Complaints related to OBC and EBC welfare department, health, irrigation, general administration, art and culture, education and science and technology were entertained during the programme today.
